Angora Fire ~ South Lake Tahoe

In June of 2007 fire broke out and destroyed many homes
and hundreds of acres of forest land in South Lake Tahoe.
Residents were able to evacuate and no lives were lost.
Many residents are in the process of rebuilding.
"There is an element of hope ~ the deer escaping,
the valiant firefighters, the helicopters overhead ~
all comforting imagery in my Angora Fire paintings."
